BFE Test Rig

The Bacterial Filter Efficiency (BFE) Test Rig developed by CH Technologies allows for the testing of medical face mask materials and filters according to ASTM 2101, IS 16289, and EN 14683 with Staphylococcus Aureus. This turn-key system provides a quantitative method for determining the filter efficiency of mask materials with a maximum filtration efficiency of 99.9%.

Available in both Glass or Stainless Steel Column configurations. The BLAM is the aerosol generator of choice for this test rig which allows for a tunable size distribution to provide a bio-aerosol with an average diameter of 3.0 microns.
