CHARME

The Charge Aerosol Measurement System (CHARME), offered by CH Technologies and manufactured by Palas GmbH, is an aerosol electrometer capable of measuring particles that are between 2nm and 100 um in size. This device gives concentration information based on the subtle electric charges present around a particle.

It is especially useful with very high number concentrations of nanoparticles because it measures the macroscopic effects of the individual charge on nanoparticles.
